Thank you to everyone who participated. The name has been selected, the winners have received their prizes and the results are in!

The survey was distributed over a week long period from October 30 to November 3, 2006 at four facilities on the North Shore (Harry Jerome, Ron Andrews, West Vancouver Aquatic Center, William Griffin). A total of 82 swimmers responded to the survey.

Of the respondents 77% swim the Masters workout and 23% the Swim Fit workout.

When asked the reason for swimming:
  • 59% for fitness
  • 22% to train for triathlon
  • 17% to train to compete in Masters meets
  • 02% other
When asked if they would like the following in additon to the their workout:
  • 56% Swim Stroke Clinic
  • 38% Open Water Swim Clinic
  • 32% Athlete nutrition seminar
  • 34% Circuit training for swimmers
  • 21% Circuit training for Tri athletes
  • 29% Just for fun local swim meet
